Current cravings: un hiver coloré

Le gris, le noir et le bleu marine dominent ma garde-robe. Mais l'hiver s'étiolant, je jette (forcément) un oeil aux nouvelles collections qui fleurissent ici ou là. Et le léopard n'est plus le seul à s'attirer mes faveurs, j'ai très envie d'orange, de bordeaux, même de jaune (?!). Bref, en ce moment, mes envies se résument ainsi: tout et son contraire. A demain! 

Gray is the color that dominates my wardrobe. But winter is fading away, I can't prevent myself from  discovering new collections that bloom here and there. And the leopard is not only to attract me, I'm in the mood for orange, burgundy, even yellow(?!). Basically, at this moment, my desires are as follows: everything and its opposite. See you tomorrow!

Fidèle à mon habitude, j'ai limité la casse. Au tableau de chasse des soldes, cru 2013, ce manteau Zara - fort bien coupé, au passage. J'ai donc un "truc" qui se confirme avec le léopard et qui m'oblige à la plus grande prudence car la faute de goût n'est, malheureusement, jamais bien loin! Prise de risque minimale pour ce premier tir, j'ai opté pour la tenue camouflage : jeans, sweat, baskets. Ca vous plaît? 

As usual, damages are limited. My score, after the winter sales: this Zara coat - well cut, by the way. So I have a "thing" which is confirmed with the leopard, meaning I have to be extremely careful because the fashion "faux pas", unfortunately, is never far away! For my first shot, I opted for my "camouflage" favorite outfit: jeans, sweater, sneakers. What do you think?

Le journal des vacances! De la neige, du snowboard, quelques brunchs, trois stalactites, de beaux couchers de soleil, du froid (très froid, même). Je file faire chauffer l'appareil à raclette et vous donne rendez-vous en fin de semaine pour une tenue.. Un peu spéciale. Ou plutôt, de circonstance!

The holidays diary! Snowboarding, brunch, three stalactites, beautiful sunsets, cold weather (very cold, actually). I'm now heating the "raclette" grill (if someone knows how to translate "appareil à raclette" in english, please, let me know it!). See you on friday for an outfit ... A bit special. Saying Hi from the mountains!

Un bon baiser bien frais de mon refuge en altitude, où je passe quelques jours en compagnie de mon photographe ;-) Je me félicite d'être l'heureuse propriétaire de cette chemise et de bottes Hunter, hautement appropriées à la vague de froid qui sévit  actuellement. Une belle semaine à tous!

Favorite jacket and boyfriend's jeans.

C'est toujours la même histoire : on aime un vêtement à la folie, puis on le délaisse: la passion se fait la malle. On commence à loucher sur une version améliorée, on envisage parfois de s'en défaire. Et pourtant, à chaque fois que j'enfile ce perfecto Zara, j'oublie mes envies précieuses - ACNE, pour ne pas les nommer. Attraction du cuir, valeur refuge, "c'était mieux avant"? On s'en fout. Mon cuir patiné a encore de très beaux jours devant lui.

It's always the same story: I fall in love like crazy with some clothes but tragically, passion sometimes goes away. I start to squint on an improved version, or I even consider to get rid of it. But every time I put on my Zara biker jacket, I forget all my expensive needs of a new one - ACNE, not to mention it. Attraction of leather or the syndrom of "it was better before"? Who cares. My old beloved jacket has a bright future in my company.

New in.

Quelques bricoles déco et sapes accumulées ces dernières semaines. Plein de beaux livres, tous reçus à Noël, de jolis bols japonais, un sweat Zara de la nouvelle collection - une vraie tapisserie, j'adore! Mais aussi une marinière Saint James, finalement dénichée dans un surplus militaire. Les tasses m'ont été offertes par Fleurette et les bottes Hunter par ma Maman. Et j'ai enfin investi dans une peau de mouton Ikea, voilà, ça, c'est fait! Bonne journée les petiots! 

Few things recently accumulated. Beautiful books, all received for Christmas, japanese bowls, a sweatshirt from Zara's latest collection - I fell in love with the print! But also a breton sweater from Saint James finally bought in a military surplus. Got the lovely tea cups from Fleurette and the Hunter boots are a gift from my Mom. And I finally invested in a Ikea's sheepskin, that's it! Have a good day, kids!
